Cleveland rocked..

syrreg
Some of you might have heard about Syracuse offering courses at Case Western's campus, which lead into the Syracuse distance MSLIS degree. If not, here's the official announcement and the splash we made in the blogsphere.

I am the faculty member who will be teaching the course in Cleveland this summer, and just returned from giving this information session. We had 85ish people over two days and 50 or so of them are interested in the program. It was my first trip to Cleveland although we didn't stay long.

Case Western has quite the campus, and we had time to take in the Cleveland museum of art yesterday afternoon waiting for our evening flight. I was actually quite impressed with Cleveland.

..and I'd better be, as if we get enough students, I'll be going back by myself to teach them for a week!

Now, I've had one whole glorious day in Syracuse and drive out tomorrow to go to Drexel for the first stop on my Bibliomining Across North America tour. I'll be speaking Tuesday afternoon at Drexel in Philadelphia.

Re: glad you enjoyed your visit to Case!
Thanks! I'm sure I'll need the help, assuming there's enough interest for the class. It'll be a challenge to organize a class like this from afar, but should be worth it.
